I whipped together a shoddy solar oven from mail-order boxes, aluminum foil, and left-over plastic tarp. All stapled together and taped. Check out my progress.
DAY ONE JUNE 6, 2013
The final unit measures 19″ x 16″ x 22″. The internal unit measures 13″ x 12″ x 13″. So the actual cooking space is a little bigger than an Easy Bake Oven, but it should be more than sufficient. I’ll be trying to cook up some smores, quesadillas, and the whatnot. All experimental. Will go grocery shopping tomorrow. Stay tuned.
