I know I’m late to the game, as I’ve only recently upgraded from Photoshop CS1 to CS2 (don’t ask). But, wow, I’m loving the new Warp Tool.

It’s not a complete retouch, and Lea’s head looks floaty, but this is just a quick demo. I also used Liquify > Pinch tool to remove the skin underneath the jaw. I had no idea how to do that before.
Well, looks like I have lots of images to salvage. Some masterpieces to come.
A lot of tutorials out there claiming to show you how to do real 3D text like the Universal Studios logo, but either force you to download additional files or won’t show you how to do it at all. Well, extending on the existing tutorials online, I’ll show you how to do it. I’m nice like that. Check it out.
There are no tutorial to be found on the Internet on how to create 3D Text that rotates around a 3D sphere like in the Universal Studios title card. You can apply basic 3D, but it doesn’t have any depth or extrusion. I figured out how to brute-force it, all without third-party plugins! Check it out! (more…)
